EasyTruck is a logistics startup, which provides different kinds of truck services based on the size/number of loads. The company owns and operates several trucks and provides trucking services to so many manufacturing and other industries in South India connecting them to the nearby shipping ports.

Problem Faced

The customers who request the trucking service from EasyTruck have to call them and book services. Allocation of trucks, payment, and tracking of trucks and had to be done manually and it leads to an inefficient and time-consuming operation. EasyTruck company wanted to automate the entire process using a digital solution.

Goal

To create an end-to-end online platform to automate the trucking booking process including request, allocation, and tracking process, terminal and documentation management, real-time tracking features, and convenient online payment.

Solution

MacAppStudio developed an end-to-end cloud-based platform for EasyTruck with a simple and intuitive user interface which provides features like booking requests, fare estimation, real-time truck tracking, and online payment. The platform uses realtime Google Maps API to calculate distance, estimate fares, calculate tool charges, terminal charges and provide an accurate total charge for the end customer. Also the documentation and other bills for the terminal clearing can also be uploaded in the app as well as real-time truck location tracking making it a one-point solution for end to end trucking needs

Current Status

Currently, EasyTruck is delivering its services for Open Truck, Full Truckload, Trailer Double Axle, Trailer Triple Axle, and Tarus in Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi. Several corporate and manufacturing industries have onboarded the app and have seamlessly adapted it to the digital truck booking process making this a huge success.
