Joel Thomasraj always had the vision to create an awesome, world-class and seamless music platform for Christian songs just like we have for secular songs like iTunes, Spotify, etc. This involved a great deal of coordination to bring together the various artist and their songs and to build the one-of-a-kind platform in the world.

Problem Faced

To achieve the vision of creating a world-class Christian music platform on par with the other best-in-class industry leaders like iTunes and Spotify, God Music had to have a world class technology platform which is secure, scalable, and world-class in terms of design and functioning.

Goal

To create an awesome world-class and scalable end-to-end platform for God Music app to deliver 17,000+ songs from over 100+ Artists to millions of people across the world seamlessly. The app also needed to have the options of Playlists, Karaoke, and Chord Sheets in addition to the provision of music classes for instruments like Piano and Guitar.

Solution

MacAppStudio designed and developed an end-to-end music streaming platform for God Music with iOS and Android apps for users, a dashboard for artists, and a dashboard for administrators of the platform. The platform development was focused on a great UI/UX design, performance, security, and scalability.

The platform was developed to be able to deliver tens of thousands of songs to millions of users across the world. The users can create their own custom playlists, choose preferred artists to get personalized recommendations, and get karaoke and chord sheets for all songs. The app also can get access to video music courses for instruments like Piano and Guitar by prominent and world-class musicians.

The platform has a web-based admin dashboard which has an inbuilt CMS that manages the end-to-end song content and their metadata like name, images, category, artists, musicians, etc. The dashboard also has other modules for user management, pricing management, banner management, reports, and analysis. The platform also provides a separate dashboard for artists in which they can view their songs, performances, metrics, and earnings.

Current Status

The platform was launched in Mar 2020 and has over 2 Million users, 17,000+ songs, and over 5,000 reviews and ratings in the stores averaging 4.8/5.0. The platform was a huge success and is currently used by audiences all over the world. God Music team is in talks with other language artists to bring several other languages and additional content to the platform to make it truly global.
